August: The WHY Behind the Work

The summer of 2022 is winding down with the beginning of the school year for our kids, Benson and Seneca. Benson is continuing his Spanish Language Immersion Program as a 2nd grader and his ability to speak Español is impressive (in the rare moments he decides to speak it in front of us). Seneca is now officially a Pre-K girl and she is excited  to see her friends again. 

They say that these moments move by quickly and they are right. It was only two years ago when Seneca was still in diapers and Benson was in kindergarten. I am reminded every day to cherish the seemingly mundane moments because they are unrecoverable, once experienced. 

Senior Helpers continues to grow as well. Our Poway office is fully staffed and operational. We are engaging in business to business outreach for both client and caregiver acquisition. Every day, our staff works hard, pounding the pavement of opportunity and growth – seeking ways to improve our operations, minimize costs, improve our community relations.
