"To Everyone at Senior Helpers,
I want to express my deepest gratitude for the care, compassion, and support you gave to my husband, Pat, and to me over the past year. It has taken me some time to find the words because "thank you" just doesn't seem big enough.
When Senior Helpers came into our lives in the summer of 2025, we were beginning a journey that neither of us could have imagined. Pat's dementia progressed so quickly, and what followed was one of the most difficult years of our lives. Looking back, I honestly don't know how I would have made it through without each of you.
Before dementia, Pat was one of the kindest, funniest people you could ever meet. The disease changed so much, and there were many days when he wasn't easy to care for. Through every stage, you met him with patience, dignity, and genuine kindness.
You also cared for me in ways you may not even realize. There were days when I felt completely overwhelmed and questioned whether I could keep going. Your encouraging words, gentle reassurance, thoughtful advice, and willingness to simply be there meant more than I can ever adequately express. Sometimes a kind word can make all the difference, and you gave me those gifts over and over again.
Because of your skill, compassion, and unwavering care, Pat was able to spend the last year of his life feeling safe, respected, and cared for. That is a gift I will carry with me forever. You didn't just provide care—you gave us comfort, dignity, and moments of peace during an incredibly difficult time.
Each one of you made a difference every single day. Your work is so much more than a job; it is a calling, and you touched our lives in ways that will never be forgotten.
Please know that each of you holds a special place in my heart. I will always be grateful for the kindness you showed Pat and for the support you gave me when I needed it most.

"Wanted to let you know that David has done excellent job working with me to keep me safe, looks to do things around the house that I can no longer do and also just to be there to talk and listen and to share information about us. David is very caregiving person and shows it in many ways. I take a shower when he is here and it provides me with a peace of mind that if I fall or need help he’s right there for me. He also for example, vacuums our master bedroom for me. It truly helps out a lot and reduce the impact of my disability that my wife has to deal with. He also looks for things he could do to help out, if he sees dishes that still need to be washed, he jumps in and just does them. He also is very good in providing companionship which is extremely beneficial, especially when I’m on my own. I always look forward to seeing him and spending time with him. I’m very blessed to have him in my life!"

I had a follow-up surgery appointment on Monday after she left and ended up in the Emergency Room. It was wonderful to come home to a clean home and freshly changed bedding. It was something I could not do after my surgery, and I appreciate all that she did."
