Fun This Fall Season

Fall is such a wonderful time - the leaves begin to change color, the decorations come out to play, and who can forget about the hot cocoa which makes its way from the back of the pantry, all the way to the mug of your choice! Just writing about it gets me so excited for the months to come and all the fun that comes with it. Remember though, as much fun as you can have, you need to make sure you stay extra bundled up this season! Things like wearing multiple layers, doubling up on socks, or even wearing a cap and scarf, there are so many ways to stay warm this year, so there’s no excuse not to be careful! With all that safety talk being said and done, I think it’s time to start talking about something a little more fun – something like spooky treats and pumpkin spice frappes! Let me tell you, there is no keeping me from a pumpkin spice latte or slice of pumpkin bread when they hit the shelves. Truth be told, anything with a little bit of “fall pizazz” to it and you've got me and my wallet at the front door drooling!

Another wonderful part about the fall season is all the different activities you can do with your loved ones - activities such as going to the pumpkin patch, carving jack-o-lanterns, going for walks, and of course my favorite: forming huge leaf piles to jump in!! There is so much joy to spread and we haven’t even started talking about all the fun Halloween and Thanksgiving themed movies and tv shows available! Just like when December rolls around and all the television networks are playing classic Christmas movies, I always make sure to go back and watch my favorite movies and shows that have to do with the fall season. Personally, I love to go back and watch episodes of shows like friends or Modern Family because they have such funny and wholesome Thanksgiving & Halloween episodes. Whether you like the same shows or have your own favorite movies and episodes to watch during the fall season, it’s a wonderful way to get the whole family together!

The ideas are endless and just go to show how much fun you can have, even if it's a little cold outside. Tell us what some of your favorite Halloween or Thanksgiving movies make sure to sign up for our newsletter if you haven't already, stay safe and stay spooky everyone!!
