Welcome to Senior Helpers of Bel Air: Continuing the Legacy of Compassionate Senior Care

My name is Jason Long, and I’m honored to introduce myself as the new owner of Senior Helpers of Bel Air. Many of you may know us previously as Katherine’s Keepers, a trusted name in senior home care in our community. Today, we begin a new chapter—one built on the same values, the same dedicated team, and an unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors in Bel Air, MD and the surrounding areas.

A Heartfelt Thanks to Katherine’s Keepers

First and foremost, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the former owners of Katherine’s Keepers. Their dedication to providing exceptional senior care in Harford County laid the foundation for the trusted reputation this agency holds today. As they step into retirement, I want to thank them for their leadership and care—and assure you that their legacy is in good hands.

What’s Changing—and What’s Not

While our name is now Senior Helpers of Bel Air, everything you value about your care will remain the same. In fact, we are proud to share that:

  • The entire Katherine’s Keepers team—including caregivers, nurses, and office staff—is continuing on with us.

  • We remain committed to personalized, professional in-home senior care.

  • Your current care plans, schedules, and support team will remain unchanged.

Our goal is to make this transition as seamless and reassuring as possible for every client and family we serve.

Another one of Jason's "Whys" in of becoming a Senior Helpers owner: His mother who has been diagnosed with early-onset dementia.

Why Senior Helpers?

My journey into senior care is both personal and meaningful. In 2018, my wife, Annie, joined Senior Helpers shortly after our daughter Quinn was born. As a new mom, Annie found unwavering support from her manager—someone who valued family and believed in her potential. That experience made a lasting impact on both of us and opened our eyes to the difference that compassionate caregiving and support for families can make.

That experience inspired us to become more deeply involved in the mission of Senior Helpers. When the opportunity to acquire Katherine’s Keepers came along, it felt like the perfect way to bring our passion full circle.

Our Commitment to Bel Air and Beyond

As Senior Helpers of Bel Air, we are proud to continue serving:
Aberdeen, Abingdon, Bel Air, Churchville, Darlington, Edgewood, Forest Hill, Fallston, Havre de Grace, Jarrettsville, Joppa, Perryville, Port Deposit, Rising Sun, Charlestown, and the greater Harford County area.

Whether your loved one needs companion care, personal care, dementia and Alzheimer’s support, or respite for family caregivers, we are here to help.

We are more than a care provider—we’re a partner in your family’s journey. We look forward to working together to ensure your loved ones receive the highest standard of care.
