Myrtha is a treasure! She is constantly aware and trying to help. She's strong and has done a marvelous job with the SalonPas on my needed areas. I have confidence in her. Heloisa is sweet & willing, but will not do anything on her own initiative, such as taking dishes from the table or saying she's noticed something that needs to be done around the house. As you know, the others (Marie/Lodia, Kerwin) have not been a credit to you. I credit Myrtha with my good progress. I'm coming along and can foresee when we'll be able to be on our own again. My Mom had a hemorrhagic stroke earlier this year. My goal was to bring her home but I have to work and would be her sole provider (family lives out of state). When our geriatric care manager introduced me to Senior Helpers, it was such a relief. After meeting Robyn RN and the care providers, I knew my mother would be in good, safe and caring hands while I was working. I felt like Mark, Robyn, Vicky etc. we were a team providing care to my Mom. I didn't feel alone in this daunting responsibility. We worked with Senior Helpers to provide supplemental care to my mom nights while she was in residential rehab. When she first arrived, she needed a lot of extra care and we weren’t comfortable leaving her alone. Senior Helpers scheduled a home health aid immediately, the first night we reached out, and gave us a lot of information about rehab and care in general that no-one else gave us. They were patient with us, answered all our questions, were very flexible, and very communicative. They took care of everything, and in the flurry of frightening decisions we’ve had to make about our mom’s care, this was a godsend. Our helper was kind, calm, and confident. The unbelievable peace of mind this gave us, knowing our mom was looked after as well as we would, and a better understanding of the system, was priceless. Highly recommend!

Senior Helpers is an outstanding organization! My elderly mother lives with me, but since I work full-time and travel, I need help ensuring she is OK when I’m not at home. My schedule is crazy, but Senior Helpers has been able to provide consistently amazing care. Jackie is like a Mary Poppins! She takes my mother to doctors appointments and on errands, makes her meals, reminds her of her medication, does housework I don’t even think to ask about, and takes awesome care of my cat! It is such a huge relief knowing my mother and cat are being so well taken care of when I am away.
