Dear Senior Valentine's Day Card Drive 2026
2,500+ handmade Valentine’s Day cards. One incredible community.
This year, more than 10 local area schools and youth groups came together for Senior Helpers of Greater Oklahoma City’s Dear Senior, Valentine’s Day Card Drive — and the result was truly extraordinary!
Together, students created and donated over 2,500 handmade cards, each one filled with creativity, kindness, and heartfelt messages. ️
These cards were distributed through:
- Meals on Wheels Oklahoma City
- Oklahoma, Canadian & Logan County Senior Nutrition
- Jesus House
- Valir PACE
Through these wonderful organizations, the cards reached seniors and community members throughout our area — delivering not just a Valentine, but a reminder that they are seen, valued, and remembered.
For many seniors, holidays can quietly magnify feelings of isolation. A simple, handwritten card can help ease that loneliness — offering connection, warmth, and a tangible expression of care from the next generation.
