Meet the North Las Vegas office

Most folks involved in this extremely worthwhile business have a deep and personal reason for pursuing it.  That is the same premise for Linda Evans and Jordan Noble at Senior Helpers of North Las Vegas. 

Fourteen years ago, when her step-father passed, and then four years later, when her Mom passed, Linda found herself in the position of being the primary caregiver.  She was an only child making all of the decisions and providing financial support, as well as continuing to work full time.  At that time the choices for assistance were limited.  The services that Senior Helpers offers, especially as it pertains to a family member in the Dementia syndrome, were not as available and Linda had no idea where to begin. 

The choices Linda did make were well considered dependent upon professional opportunities as well.  It was a painful, stressful time, and it became clear that she could not do it alone.

An in-home caregiver was finally hired to help out a few hours a week.  Linda welcomed the help and it made an incredible difference in both her mother’s life and hers.  Linda felt more reassured that she could go to work knowing that her mom was in the hands of someone she could trust, meet her mom’s needs, and she would be treated with respect.

In the ensuing years, the in-home care industry evolved considerably.  Linda’s grandson, Jordan Noble, who has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, shared that he wanted to own his own business.  They agreed upon a joint venture. In their search, many businesses were considered.  However, when Senior Helpers came to their attention, the timing was right for both Linda and Jordan, and it became the unmistakable true choice.  They were impressed with the integrity of its founders and the principles that guided the company. From the start they found that their values were very closely aligned with their own.

They knew they could provide a high quality of life for their clients and their families, because of the manner in which innovative services, such as Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Parkinson’s care are introduced, as well as being a trusted resource for delivering customized, dependable and affordable care.

Our History

Senior Helpers was founded in 2002 by Tony Bonacuse with the help of Peter Ross after their firsthand experience in caring for their respective family members. Tony and Peter identified a need that was not being filled properly by the other companies.  They realized that most seniors would prefer to age in their own home rather than move into an unfamiliar institution.  Unfortunately, the options available to most seniors were very limited.  Most seniors did not have access to well-trained, dependable and accessible in-home care. This was the mission-driven spark that started Senior Helpers. 

The first office opened in Baltimore, Maryland, and quickly developed a reputation for delivering excellent in-home senior care with their well-trained staff of professional caregivers. Based on the success of the Baltimore location, the company began to expand.  Over the past 13 years, the Senior Helpers family has grown to include a network of more than 300 locally owned and operated franchises across the United States. 

Senior Helpers of North Las Vegas was proud to join the system in 2020.  Like every other owner, we too are fully-committed to the original goal of providing dependable and accessible in-home care with well-trained caregivers. Nothing is more important to us than being the best available resource for seniors and families in our community.  We are lucky to serve hundreds of seniors in our community, and we are committed to continuing to provide uncompromising levels of care to all our families.
