This year Hanukkah will be celebrated November 6th through December 6th, followed by Christmas, and then Kwanza from December 26th through January 1st. The month of Decemeber is filled with traditions, compassion, giving, quality time with family and highlights what is truly im portant in life. It is not the packages under the tree, it's the time spent with families and friends.

Ties... What are they good for?
When we think about a "tie," several thoughts may jump into your mind first: a connection to someone or something, the fastenin gwith string or a cord, or that fabulous bowtie that your father always wore.
Kindness: the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.
Being kind ot others not only feels good but it is good for your health. So, being kind should be a no brainer, right? Acts of kindness have been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce pain, increase healing and acceptance by others, and tto boost one's state of joyfulness. Acts of kindness can improve relationships, forge bonds that develop into long lasting friendships.
