Our History
My name is Miles Mulman, and I have called Massachusetts home since 2002. From the beginning of my career, I felt a strong pull toward service — toward work that creates a real, immediate, and meaningful impact in people's lives. That calling led me to dedicate my professional life to home care for older adults, and it is work I am deeply passionate about every single day.
My connection to this work runs deeper than my career. Watching my grandfather struggle with Alzheimer's disease before he passed away gave me a profound understanding of what families experience when a loved one needs care. Seeing such a significant change in a man I knew and loved so well left a lasting impression on me. That experience shapes the way I lead this organization and the standard of care I hold us to for every client we serve.
My father opened this Senior Helpers office in 2008, building it on a foundation of genuine compassion and quality care. Before joining him, I had the privilege of working at the Senior Helpers national office, where I witnessed the difference that dedicated local owners were making in communities across the country. What resonated with me most was the tangible impact — older adults remaining in their own homes, in the neighborhoods they loved, surrounded by the lives they had built, and families finding peace of mind knowing their loved ones were in truly capable and caring hands. I knew that was the work I was meant to do, and I returned to Massachusetts to do it here.
I came into this industry clear-eyed about its challenges. Home care is a field with enormous potential and significant room for improvement. Far more people want and deserve quality care at home than currently have access to it, and consistency across providers remains a real concern. I am committed every day to raising that bar — to ensuring that every person who trusts us with their care receives not just competent support, but exceptional, personalized care. My goal is for every client to be able to live their entire life at home, on their own terms, for as long as they choose. I believe deeply that we play a vital role in making that possible.
I live in Massachusetts with my wife Kelsy, our two children Mason and Eleanor, our Bernese Mountain Dog Henry, and our cats Berra and Leo. Family is at the heart of everything I do — and that commitment extends to every client and family we are honored to serve in the North Shore.
