Hi, I’m Daniel Knipschield, owner of your local home care agency here in Rockford, IL, and I’m proud to serve the seniors and families of this community.

As a Marine Corps veteran, I value integrity, dependability, and service—principles that guide everything we do. With a professional background in operations, I’ve built this agency to deliver in-home care that’s flexible, transparent, and truly centered around each client’s needs.

I’ve lived in Northern Illinois my whole life, and I’m committed to supporting the people and families in our community. Whether your loved one needs a little extra help or more involved care, our team is here to make life easier, safer, and more comfortable—right at home.

Jill Krueger, Office Manager

Our Office Manager, Jill Krueger,  brings nearly a decade of home care experience—and a true passion for helping others. She has been with Senior Helpers in Rockford for 9 years, honing her skills in organizing care and matching caregivers with clients.

Born and raised right here in Rockford, IL, she knows the community and its unique needs well. Whether creating customized schedules or handling last-minute care requests, she always makes sure clients feel heard, supported, and comfortable.

Her deep knowledge of the home care industry—and her ability to connect personally with families—helps ensure every care plan runs smoothly and fits each family’s unique situation. She’s a key part of what makes our office personnel dependable, and easy to work with.

Elise Kapala, Client Services Manager

Hi, I’m Elise Kapala, Client Services Manager at Senior Helpers Rockford, and I’m passionate about helping seniors and families feel supported, heard, and cared for.
With nearly 8 years of caregiving and home care experience, I’ve always felt called to help others. After studying Nursing, Accounting, and Business Administration, I realized my true passion was working directly with people and making a difference in their lives. Today, I’m grateful to combine my organizational skills with my love for caregiving in a role that allows me to support both families and caregivers every day.
Having grown up in Northern Illinois, I enjoy building genuine connections within our community and helping make life a little easier for the families we serve. I believe kindness, honesty, and compassion matter in every interaction, and my goal is always to make people feel seen, heard, and valued.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and spending time outdoors with my son and our animals on the farm.
