Valentine’s Day is all about love, connection, and letting the people in our lives know they matter. This year, Senior Helpers is inviting our community to help us spread a little extra love to seniors who may be feeling lonely or isolated through our “Dear Senior” Valentine’s Day Card Drive.
Loneliness and social isolation are significant issues for older adults, with recent polls showing around one-third (33-37%) of U.S. adults aged 50-80 experiencing loneliness or feeling isolated A handmade card delivered to an older adult this Valentine’s Day serves as a reminder that they are seen, valued, and cared for. Together, we can brighten their day and make this Valentine’s Day special.
How You Can Help

Have fun creating Valentine’s Day cards with drawings, messages, and decorations.
Use Our Printable Valentines (Optional)
To make participation even easier, we’re offering a free printable PDF of coloring-sheet Valentines. Simply print, color, cut out, and add a message! These are great for classrooms and group activities.

Once your cards are complete, drop them off at our Central Iowa office - 2951 86th St., Urbandale, IA 50322.
❤️ Brighten a Senior’s Day
We’ll share your Valentine’s cards with seniors in our community to let them know they are loved, appreciated, and not forgotten.
