Nā Kūpuna Makamae Community Center
Na Kupuna Makamae Center is a project of Pacific Gateway Center. It provides innovative, quality services and programs dedicated to our seniors, their families, and community that will empower, educate, enlighten, and entertain.
Weekly program at NKM includes: Hula Classes, Tai Chi, QiGong & Mindfulness, Lauhala Weaving, Hawaiian Knowledge Courses, Hanafuda, Lei Making, Chair Yoga, Tech Savvy Seniors. etc.
Kakaʻako Waterfront Park
Also known as "Point Panic Park", it is a public park in Kakaʻako, south of downtown Honolulu, just off Ala Moana Boulevard at the end of Cooke Street. It consists of 35 acres (140,000 m2) of grass-covered rolling hills adjacent to the ocean. There is no sandy beach at this location, and access to the ocean is by concrete stairs. The park has bathrooms, water fountains, free parking, picnic tables, an amphitheater, pay telephones, paved jogging paths, and two popular surfing spots, "Point Panic" and "Flies"

The Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center (LMPSC)
The Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center (LMPSC) in Kalihi is the largest senior center in the state, serving nearly 1,500 seniors. With the center’s motto being “We Play, We Learn, We Serve,” the facility offers kūpuna 60 years and older a place for recreation, education, and social interaction.
The Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center (LMPSC) is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and except holidays.
ALA MOANA
Ala Moana Center
The Ala Moana Center, commonly known simply as Ala Moana, is a large open-air shopping mall in the Ala Moana neighborhood of Honolulu, Hawaii. Kama'aina (local residents) can enjoy discounts throughout the Center at participating stores and restaurants. Ala Moana Center also features a variety of entertainment options including a free hula show daily at 1:00 P.M.
Ala Moana Regional Park
Ala Moana Beach Park is a free public park located between Waikiki and downtown Honolulu. This 100-acre park has a wide gold-sand beach that is over a half-mile long. Ala Moana Beach Park is a playground that just about offers something for everyone - big grassy areas, banyans and palm trees make the park a good place to picnic, barbecue, play various ball games or go running. There are lifeguards, showers, restrooms, phones, tennis courts, picnic tables, food concessions and a music pavilion. Ala Moana Beach Park is a favorite among Honolulu residents. It is right next to "Magic Island" where many cultural events are held. The park is closed from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Magic Island
Magic Island is a small man-made peninsula in Honolulu, Hawaii, adjacent to Ala Moana Beach Park and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. It was created in 1964 as the site of a resort complex, but was subsequently converted to a park. The name was changed to "Aina Moana", but the new name is used infrequently. The park on Magic Island is a popular spot where people gather for picnics, frisbee, socializing, and occasional festival or drama performance.
