Parkinson's Care

If you or someone you love is living with Parkinson’s disease, whether recently diagnosed or navigating the challenges as the disease progresses over time, Senior Helpers understands the challenges Parkinson’s disease presents in your daily life—and we can help. We know how important it is that you have access to a strong support network, and we can be part of that. Many things can be done to maintain, and even improve, your quality of life living with Parkinson’s. Senior Helpers works with many clients living with this disease, and we want to become a trusted member of your support network. Our Houston Heights, Galleria, Memorial, and Houston Parkinson’s care and other disability services will help your loved ones live the best quality of life. Our knowledgeable and experienced caregivers will work closely with you, your family, and your medical team to offer the care you need to live as comfortably and independently as possible as you manage the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.

Expertly Trained in Parkinson's Disease Care

Our caregivers are thoroughly trained in Parkinson’s care through our Senior Helpers’ Parkinson’s Care Program, which was created in conjunction with experts from the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Centers of Excellence network. Through this innovative program, our team of caregivers receive the in-depth training needed to create and utilize individualized care plans for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease. Our Houston Parkinson’s care services are unique to the in-home senior care industry and are available for clients across Houston Heights, Galleria, Memorial, and surrounding communities.

As Parkinson’s is a progressive condition, you or your loved one’s care requirements will change as the disease advances, and your care plan will need to be modified. In the beginning, you may need help around the house or running errands, but with time, your needs may evolve to require personal care and daily living assistance. With Houston Parkinson’s support services and disability care from Senior Helpers, we respect and recognize that each individual’s needs are unique, so our care plans in Houston Heights, Galleria, Memorial, and surrounding communities are personalized to fit your specific needs.
