Hands on Training

The Center of Excellence in Caregiving is a one-of-a-kind immersive experience where attendees can participate in a wide range of trainings that touch on all areas of caregiving.  The training setting is a home, just like what many of our caregivers experience in the field. This will allow us to partner with additional local authorities on aging to offer training and resources for families and healthcare professionals on topics such as:

• The Importance of Autonomy in Caregiving
• Basic Caregiving Strategies
• Senior GEMS Training for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregivers
• Quality of Life as We Age

Hands-on training at the Senior Helpers Center of Excellence! We equip our caregivers with essential skills—like changing a brief without removing pants—to ensure dignified, comfortable, and efficient care in real-home settings.
