Senior Helpers of Buffalo was recently featured on WGRZ Channel 2 for our Valentine’s Day Card Drive, an initiative focused on spreading joy to seniors who may be experiencing isolation.
The story highlighted our East Amherst location, where volunteers of all ages came together to create handmade Valentine’s cards for local memory care, assisted living, nursing home, and independent living communities. With a goal of collecting more than 500 cards, the drive brought schools, caregivers, clients, and community members together for a simple but meaningful cause: reminding seniors they are appreciated and not forgotten.
