Senior Helpers of Western Kentucky is a locally owned and operated family business providing in-home senior care to families in the Paducah, Hopkinsville, and surrounding communities. As a locally owned franchise, we bring a personal commitment to care that goes beyond what larger, corporate providers can offer.

We know that choosing in-home care for someone you love is not a small decision. When you work with Senior Helpers of Western Kentucky, you are working with a local team that is invested in every family we serve and deeply connected to the communities we call home.

We are here to help, at whatever stage you find yourself in this process.

About this Franchise

Senior Helpers of Western Kentucky is a family-owned and operated business, and that shapes everything about how we work. Leslie and Kyle Rhone run this organization around a simple belief: that older adults deserve consistent, trustworthy care that allows them to remain in the home they love, and that families deserve a team they can genuinely rely on.

For Leslie and Kyle, this work is more than a business. Serving seniors and their families across Paducah, Hopkinsville, and the surrounding communities is something they find deeply meaningful, and that commitment shows in the people they hire, the standards they hold, and the relationships they build with every family they serve.

Senior Helpers of Western Kentucky is proud to be Age-Friendly Care at Home certified by CHAP, reflecting a care model built around four areas that research shows matter most to older adults: Mentation, Mobility, Medication Management, and What Matters to each individual client. They are also members of the CareScout Quality Network, meaning their business practices, staffing, and care standards have been independently verified.

What Families are Saying

"Compassionate, personal, care-first organization. A great team as well the admin staff. I would entrust my mother's care to no other."

"Excellent helpers! Really a wonderful group of people. Highly recommend them to anyone needing help with caregiving of elderly relatives. I feel my mother is in good hands with her helper and it gives me a nice break from caregiving for a little bit."

"My aunt was cared for by Senior Helpers and I observed their dedication in meeting her physical needs, but also they were concerned about her emotional and social needs. It is very comforting to know that your loved one is being cared for by wonderful people who are trusted and dependable. I feel we are very blessed to have their care available in our area."

Our History

Our History

Senior Helpers was founded in 2002 by Tony Bonacuse with the help of Peter Ross after their firsthand experience caring for their respective family members. Tony and Peter identified a need that was not being met by other companies. They understood that most seniors would prefer to age in their own home rather than move into an unfamiliar institution, and that access to well-trained, dependable, and affordable in-home care was far too limited. That mission-driven insight became the foundation of Senior Helpers.

The first office opened in Baltimore and quickly earned a reputation for exceptional in-home senior care. The company grew steadily, and today the Senior Helpers network includes more than 300 locally owned and operated franchises across the United States.

Senior Helpers of Western Kentucky joined the Senior Helpers network in 2007. When Leslie and Kyle Rhone took ownership of the franchise in 2020, they brought fresh energy and a deep personal commitment to the western Kentucky community to a business already built on a strong foundation.

Since taking over, Leslie and Kyle have been committed to making Senior Helpers of Western Kentucky the most trusted name in in-home senior care across the Paducah, Hopkinsville, and surrounding areas.
