How Retiring Seniors Can Keep Their Quality of Life High: 5 Struggles and Solutions

4. Gain a Sense of Purpose

Even after retirement, seniors still have much to give regarding knowledge and creativity, so share it with the community. Make an effort to volunteer services for loved ones or neighbors. Offer to take a dog for a walk, babysit grandchildren, or teach someone a skill like cooking or how to do a favorite hobby. Seniors can also volunteer for a favorite charity or earn an income part-time doing something they love. 

5. Resist Depression
