Each month, we proudly recognize one outstanding team member as our Caregiver of the Month, a caregiver who consistently goes above and beyond to deliver exceptional care and meaningful connection.

Ysabel

Ysabel Lopez may be newer to Senior Helpers Visalia, but her heart for caregiving has been part of who she is for much longer. In her first three months with our team, she has already made a meaningful impact by bringing compassion, kindness, and reliability into the homes of the seniors she serves.


Ysabel believes that great in-home care is about more than completing tasks — it’s about making a senior’s day easier, brighter, and more comfortable. She shares that what she loves most about being a caregiver is walking into a client’s home and knowing she can help improve their quality of life, whether that means assisting with daily activities, offering companionship, or simply providing a caring presence.


As part of the Senior Helpers Visalia team, Ysabel appreciates the supportive and understanding office staff who work alongside caregivers to ensure seniors receive the highest quality care possible. She values being part of a team that truly cares — not only about clients, but also about the caregivers who serve them.


Outside of her work in senior care, Ysabel enjoys spending quality time with her family and playing soccer together. Her strong family values and energetic spirit naturally carry over into the warmth and positivity she brings to her clients each day.

At Senior Helpers Visalia, we are proud to recognize Destiny as our Caregiver of the Month for March, honoring her dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality in-home senior care.\

Destiny brings a heartfelt approach to caregiving, always striving to support her clients to the very best of her ability. She believes that great senior care starts with listening, which is why she takes the time to ask each client what she can do to help. By understanding their needs and preferences, Destiny helps reduce stress, promote comfort, and create a positive daily experience for the seniors she serves.

Her journey with Senior Helpers began after seeing an opportunity on Facebook. With encouragement from her family-and drawing on her previous caregiving experience-Destiny knew this role would be a great fit. Since joining the team, she has proven to be a reliable and compassionate caregiver, making a meaningful impact on seniors and their families throughout the Visalia community.

One of Destiny's favorite parts of being a caregiver is building genuine connections with her clients. She enjoys talking with them, learning about their life stories, and hearing about the places they've been and experiences they've had. These moments not only enrich her work but also help her provide more personalized and attentive care.

Outside of her caregiving role, Destiny values spending quality time with her loved ones. She especially enjoys taking fun weekend trips to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories with family and friends.
