What Is Art Flow?

Art Flow is a welcoming opportunity to explore creativity and self-expression through a variety of arts and crafts projects.

Each month may look a little different. We may paint, draw, work on a vision board, or try another hands-on project designed to encourage creativity and connection.

You do not need to consider yourself an artist to participate.

Come as you are, try something new, and enjoy spending time with others in a relaxed setting.

Upcoming Art Flow Dates

Mark your calendar for these upcoming sessions:

• August 25 at 11:30 a.m.
• September 22 at 11:00 a.m.
• October 20 at 11:00 a.m.
• November 17 at 11:00 a.m.
• December 15 at 11:00 a.m.

Beginning in September, Art Flow will start at 11:00 a.m.

The event is open to adults 55 and older.

If you are not already a member of Saguaro Social Club, simply arrive about 15 minutes early to register for a free membership before the session begins.

Creativity and Connection Matter at Every Age

One of my favorite things about leading art programs is watching people settle in, start creating, and naturally begin talking with the people around them.

The finished project is fun, of course, but the real value is often found in the moments in between.

A laugh over a color choice. A conversation with someone new. The satisfaction of making something with your own hands.

Staying engaged in hobbies and social opportunities can be a wonderful way for older adults to continue feeling connected to their community.

And sometimes, it is simply nice to have something fun on the calendar.
