Our History

Senior Helpers of Menomonee Falls was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to provide compassionate, professional care that allows seniors to age with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. For owner Josh Walters, the decision to open this business was deeply personal. Having witnessed firsthand how his own parents and grandparents could have benefitted from quality in-home support, Josh wanted to create something meaningful, something that would truly serve the community he calls home.

Menomonee Falls is more than just a location for Josh; it is where his family lives, where he has built lasting relationships, and where he feels most connected. Opening Senior Helpers here was a natural choice, rooted in his desire to directly support his neighbors and strengthen the community.

From the very beginning, the mission of Senior Helpers of Menomonee Falls has been clear: senior care is not just a service, it is a calling. Each day brings the opportunity to help someone feel safe, comfortable, and valued. With a team of caregivers dedicated to compassion and excellence, the office is committed to making a difference in the lives of seniors and their families, one visit, one conversation, and one act of care at a time.

Our process

Our process

The first step in the process is a complimentary, initial in-home care assessment with a Senior Helpers consultant.  This assessment can help you understand the true needs of your loved one, and your options. Together we can discuss their needs, our senior care services and determine what’s best for your entire family.

We will cover:

  • Your family's specific goals
  • Your loved one's daily plan design and schedule
  • Pricing and payment methods
  •  Implementation process
  • Ongoing communication and follow-up plan

Josh Walters

Owner

Josh Walters is the proud owner of Senior Helpers of Menomonee Falls, where his mission is to bring compassionate, professional in-home care to the community he and his family call home. For Josh, senior care is not just a business; it is personal. Inspired by his own parents and grandparents, who could have benefited from dedicated care at home, he was driven to create a service that allows seniors to age with dignity, comfort, and independence.

What excites Josh most about Senior Helpers is the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives every single day. He is passionate about building a team of caregivers who share his commitment to compassion, service, and trust, ensuring families feel confident that their loved ones are in good hands. His guiding belief is simple: Do the work, make it count.

Beyond his professional role, Josh is a devoted husband and father of three. He and his wife are soon celebrating their 13th anniversary, and family remains at the center of everything he does. He treasures one-on-one time with his daughters, working on building projects with his son, and enjoying family gatherings that create lasting memories. Together, his family actively volunteers at the Hope Center, serving meals and connecting with those in need, and they look forward to continuing to give back through local causes and charity events.

A hands-on learner and problem-solver, Josh is known for his go-getter spirit, reliability, and commitment to helping others. For him, Senior Helpers is not just about care; it is about connection, purpose, and making a positive impact in the community he loves.

I want to take this opportunity to express our thanks for the superb work Diane did for Dad while he was in the hospital. She was punctual, personable, and dedicated. She helped my Dad immensely during a difficult time for him. Her calm manner and brilliant smile worked magic. My Dad’s attitude changed completely for the better after her first visit. Thank you so much for giving us Diane. She really is a remarkable person and very caring.
