Our History
Senior Helpers of West Houston was founded by Fatema Ebrahim and Ali Sharif, a husband-and-wife team driven by both professional experience and personal passion. Their commitment was shaped by firsthand experience with family caregiving—an experience that made them realize how difficult and lonely the journey can feel without proper guidance and help.
Together, they established Senior Helpers of West Houston to provide more than just in-home care- they set out to build a purpose-driven organization that prioritizes dignity, independence, and peace of mind for seniors and their families. Their vision is to offer high-quality, dependable care delivered by a team of professionals who genuinely care. For Fatema and Ali, this work is deeply personal, and every decision is guided by a shared commitment to improving lives and making a meaningful impact, one family at a time.
Their passion for service is rooted in family values and inspired by Fatema’s late father, who was known in his community as someone you could always count on. That legacy continues today through their dedication to kindness, empathy, and active community involvement. Whether it’s organizing local volunteer events, visiting senior centers with their three children, or supporting underserved families across Houston, Fatema and Ali are proud to lead a business that reflects who they are and what they stand for.
