Enjoy the sights and sounds of spring as we stroll together on a paved 1‑mile loop nature trail at Crawford Park. This relaxed “walk & talk” pace is designed for socializing rather than exercise. Special guest Mason, a Labrador therapy dog, will be joining us! Please note, that there is a hill along the route. The walk will begin promptly, so please arrive early or on time. Please bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable walking shoes. We will meet in front of the Crawford Park Mansion near the parking area. Parking and admission are free.
“On the Menu” offers a warm and informal setting for learning, discussing, and reflecting on topics connected to aging well. Join us this time for a conversation on hearing health and aging. We will explore common causes of hearing loss, devices and support available today, and how hearing changes can affect relationships and daily activities. Add your thoughts and experiences to the information presented by Kristi D’Auria, AuD, CCC-A, Supervisor of Audiology at the Westchester Institute for Human Development.
