Meet the Lawrence office

More than 90% of seniors want to be able to age in their own home with dignity but getting the right type of care can seem daunting.  At Senior Helpers of Lawrence we believe that getting the best care for your loved ones should not be complicated.  We recognize the growing need for in-home care services, and with our passion for helping others, we are committed to delivering the best possible care to seniors in the Lawrence community. 

We take the opportunity to provide care in your home seriously and make it a priority to provide the highest level of client service possible.  We have built an exceptional team of care professionals, each committed to remaining at the forefront of the in-home care industry through our proprietary ongoing training and education programs. Our History

Our History

Senior Helpers of Lawrence was founded by Rohan Parikh, whose passion for service grew from both a 20-year career in corporate operations and a deeply personal journey. When Rohan’s own parents began aging at home, he experienced firsthand the challenges of finding compassionate, dependable in-home care. That eye-opening experience inspired him to help other families facing the same uncertainty—and led him to open a Senior Helpers agency rooted in trust, empathy, and people-first leadership.

Rohan and his family have proudly called Kansas home for nearly a decade. Serving the communities of Douglas, Wyandotte, and Leavenworth counties is a privilege, and one that aligns closely with their Midwest values: hard work, kindness, and doing right by others. Rohan believes that great care starts with a great team, and he’s passionate about investing in caregivers and office staff so they feel supported and empowered to provide the highest level of service. Guided by the agency’s motto—Work Hard and Be Nice to People—Senior Helpers of Lawrence is on a mission to help each client live their best life during their golden years.

Giving back is also at the heart of Rohan’s approach. His family regularly volunteers with Harvesters to help fight food insecurity and looks forward to extending that commitment through community events and food drives. Outside of work, the Parikhs enjoy exploring Kansas’ many outdoor spaces, spending time with their two children and Goldendoodle, Alex, and carrying on their favorite tradition: Friday movie nights—often featuring 80s classics. At Senior Helpers of Lawrence, Rohan and his team are honored to care for your loved ones as if they were their own.

This personalized meeting helps us understand your loved one’s needs and walk you through the options available. Together, we’ll design a care plan that supports their independence and brings peace of mind to your entire family.

During this initial visit, we’ll discuss:

  • Your loved one’s daily care plan and schedule
  • Pricing and payment methods
  • The implementation process

Owner & Community Relations Leader

Rohan brings more than 20 years of leadership and operational expertise to his role as owner of Senior Helpers of Lawrence. His career has been shaped by a dedication to service excellence and people-first leadership—but it was his personal experience navigating care for his own aging parents that led him to a more meaningful calling.

After seeing firsthand the challenges and emotional weight of finding reliable, compassionate in-home care, Rohan knew he wanted to be part of the solution for other families facing similar decisions. That mission inspired him to open a Senior Helpers agency serving Douglas, Wyandotte, and Leavenworth counties—communities his family has proudly called home for nearly a decade.

Raised in the Midwest, Rohan values hard work, trust, and kindness—principles that guide his approach to caregiving. He believes that when you care deeply for your team, they’re empowered to provide the very best care for clients. At Senior Helpers of Lawrence, that philosophy is woven into every aspect of the business. The agency’s vision is simple yet powerful: to help each client live their best life during their golden years through exceptional care, genuine connection, and a “say yes” attitude. Their motto—Work Hard and Be Nice to People—reflects the heart of their culture.

Outside of work, Rohan enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife of 20 years, their two children, and their Goldendoodle, Alex. Adriane Stevanov

Adriane Stevanov

Care Team Leader

Adriane brings over a decade of experience in client service and team leadership to her role as Care Team Leader at Senior Helpers of Lawrence. Born in Boynton Beach, Florida, but raised in Hays, Kansas,  Adriane has spent her career supporting individuals and families across Kansas with compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to excellence.

Adriane’s journey to Senior Helpers was guided by her passion for helping others and her belief that dependable, personalized care can change lives. In her role, she oversees every aspect of the caregiver's experience—from hiring and training to scheduling and ongoing support. Her leadership ensures that caregivers are equipped, empowered, and encouraged to deliver exceptional care every day.

At the heart of Adriane’s work is a simple philosophy: great care begins with a well-supported team. She is deeply invested in building strong, meaningful connections between caregivers and clients, knowing that trust and consistency are essential to the caregiving experience. Her attention to detail and dedication to quality shine through in every client interaction.

Outside of the office, Adriane enjoys life in her hometown of Lawrence, Kansas, where she stays actively involved in the local community. Whether attending events or spending time with loved ones, she finds joy in staying rooted in the place she calls home.

To Adriane, Senior Helpers is more than a job—it’s a calling. Her compassion, experience, and leadership make her an invaluable part of the Senior Helpers family, and her impact is felt in every life she touches.

Bringing 60 pounds of pure love, fluff, and joy, meet Alex — our honorary Happiness Coordinator here at Senior Helpers of Lawrence!

At just 1.5 years old, Alex has already mastered the art of remote work, often choosing to conduct business from the comfort of his favorite sunny spot at home. While you won’t catch him in the office daily, Alex makes exclusive appearances for high-profile events like ribbon cuttings, agency picnics, and the occasional holiday party — you know, the important stuff.

I want to take this opportunity to express our thanks for the superb work Diane did for Dad while he was in the hospital. She was punctual, personable, and dedicated.
