VA Benefit Assistance

Senior Helpers of Greenwood and South Indianapolis work with veterans to get them involved with the VA’s Aid & Attendance Benefit. This amazing program helps seniors get the care that they require to live in their homes comfortably. Those that are eligible for this program include veterans, their spouses, and surviving spouses of veterans who have passed. The VA’s Aid & Attendance Benefit is a tax-free pension that gives veterans and their loved ones financial aid that can help with the cost associated with long-term, non-medical home care and senior care.

Veteran Assistance Program

Many veterans are unaware that they are eligible for this benefit, and our Greenwood veteran home care services and VA benefit assistance team in Indianapolis, Franklin, and surrounding areas can help them apply for it. The benefit can help veterans that were active duty during not only World War II, but the Korean War and the Vietnam War. All veterans that served during those time periods and served active duty for a minimum of 90 days, are able to apply for the VA’s Aid & Attendance Benefit.

Senior Helpers of Greenwood and South Indianapolis is devoted to taking care of our veterans, and we understand their need for home care and senior care. Our Greenwood veteran home care services team that caters to Indianapolis, Franklin, and additional communities works hard to make sure those that have served are taken care of adequately and receive the benefits they need in order to receive in-home senior care when they need it. We work alongside assistance organizations to get our clients’ applications started, and then we provide the care that our veterans need.

Our in-home senior care and home care services ensure that our clients who are veterans can enjoy their senior years in the comfort of their own home while remaining as independent as they can, for as long as they can. Our Greenwood veteran home care services in Indianapolis, Franklin, and other surrounding communities are unique to our clients and we can customize them depending on their specific requests or care requirements.
