As the weather cools off for many of us, the Fall is a great time to get outdoors. We look forward to many fun activities and events with our loved ones during this season. Let’s take a look at a few fun ideas for all to enjoy.
Tailgating
Gather with your friends and family and enjoy watching your favorite football teams. Bring your favorite food and drinks or games to play. For a bigger picture hang a sheet on a wall and watch the game through a projector.
Farmers Market
Check out your local farmers market for seasonal fresh produce and an array of products. Invite your friends along to shop and many markets are pet-friendly as well. These are great for supporting local small businesses, socializing, and finding some great products and gifts for others.
Wine Tours
Depending on where you live, there is a good chance that you have nearby wineries that offer tours. Autumn is a great time to visit wineries when the leaves are changing colors and grapes are harvested. This is a nice outing even if you don’t drink alcohol to learn about the business and see some sights. Ask ahead if food or other drinks are provided.
Reading
Books may already be a popular favorite activity but there are a few creative ways to enjoy reading. Start a book club with loved ones or trade with friends. Check out some new books at your local library. You may have seen those little book nooks in people's yards that look like mailboxes. This is for people to take and leave books to enjoy reading in your neighborhood.
These are just a few ideas to consider for your next activity this Fall. Don’t be afraid to try something different or new. You never know if you may enjoy something until you give it a try for yourself. Inviting friends and family along to get in on the fun always helps too.
