How to make vintage style valentine cards, as seen on modernmom.com.
Valentine’s Day is on the horizon so here is a quick DIY vintage Valentine card tutorial that sen
iors will love! It is fun to see card styles from different eras like the early 1900’s or 1950’s, just search the internet for “royalty free vintage Valentines” and see what pops up.
- Matte photo paper
- Glitter glue
- Spray glue
- Home printer
- Gold pen
- Decorative edge punch
- First, Google “Royalty Free Vintage Valentines” and lots of vintage valentine images will come up. Choose images from a few different sites.
- Print them out on matte photo paper and then spruced them up a bit with gold paint and glitter.
- Next, cut out cute frames for them, and spray glued them onto cardstock. Martha Stewart’s floral edge hole punch was used to make the frame here.
