I invite you to call our office to learn more about our services. Many families have never had to begin the process for in-home care services. It can be very stressful selecting an agency to come into the home and help your loved ones. You do not have to face this challenging time alone. Let us share our extensive experience with you so that you can make informed decisions relating to the care of yourself or a loved one.
I chose to purchase this Senior Helpers franchise because I have a passion for the elderly and their desire to stay in their home during their golden years. I have fond memories as a young girl (age 11/12) going with my mom to take care of our elderly neighbor lady. She lived alone and my mom and I went to visit her every week to bring her groceries and clean her house. Early in my professional career, I worked nights for the terminally ill. It was one of the most rewarding times of my career. I was blessed in being able to take care of my father through his final years and it has brought me great comfort knowing that I was able to allow him to pass away in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his children and grandchildren. This is why I am so pleased to be able to provide quality, loving, non-medical home care through Senior Helpers to individuals living in San Diego County. Our office provides quality care to the areas of Vista, Oceanside, San Marcos, Escondido, Inland, Costal and Central.
For our basic level of care, caregivers provide services such as companionship, meal planning and preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, and other general assistance. For sitter services, caregivers sit with and monitor a client during their hospital or facility stay. The caregiver can then follow the client home to provide a smooth transition.
For our advanced level of care, our professional and experienced caregivers provide basic companion care plus assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation assistance. These services are initially assessed and regularly monitored by an on-site care coordinator.
Our caregivers are available to provide 24-hour coverage through your choice of three eight hour shifts or two twelve hour shifts. We can provide live-in caregivers as long as they can sleep for eight hours per night and receive appropriate breaks. Live-in care can be provided for a minimum of two consecutive days, up to seven days per week indefinitely.
Our unique Peace of Mind Visit program is a short visit each day to help clients with, among other things, bathing assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, getting out of or in to bed, and “check-ins.”
We know it can be challenging for families when a member is discharged from a hospital or rehab facility. We can help you prepare for the return home by ordering necessary equipment, hospital bed etc. We are also available for help prior to and after surgery and will accompany a client each step of the way through full recovery, including transportation to follow-up doctor visits. This service provides you with peace of mind knowing you have the expertise and extra set of hands needed to care your loved one when they arrive home.
Many of our clients are in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living centers, continuing care retirement communities, etc. Senior Helpers provides these clients a level of personal care not offered in these settings. This service ensures that no matter where your loved one is, they will receive the one-on-one personal care they have earned and deserve, and you will have peace of mind knowing they are well cared for.
Respite care is a unique program to assist families by providing care for a short period of time, such as vacations
We also provide transportation services. If you need assistance getting to/from doctor appointments, need help doing your grocery shopping, we are here to help.
We have a professional, process-oriented staff ready to serve our clients and their families.
When a prospective client contacts a Senior Helpers office, we set up a complimentary initial assessment at the client’s location to discuss the client’s needs and formulate a care plan.
We determine the most appropriate caregiver for the client using the assessment information and the caregiver matching process. Service starts on the pre-determined date. Follow-up is conducted immediately after service begins and on a periodic basis to ensure excellent care is delivered.
