With National Family Caregivers Month, Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving, there are so many reasons to be thankful this month.
While we would all love to personally thank each and every caregiver, vet, and family member every day, we know that's just not possible. Fortunately, there are simple ways to thank both the people and the groups you are most grateful for.
Volunteering – To thank a veteran, try volunteering or donating to various veteran causes such as the Wounded Warrior Project or Volunteers of America. Donating your time is a great way give back and show your gratitude.
Donate – We know that as caregivers your schedule is especially busy, so if you don't have extra time to volunteer you can always donate. The Caregiver Action Network (CAN) raises money to provide supports, education, and encouragement to family caregivers like you!
Time – Just spending time with your loved ones, a vet, or a caregiver can be the best way to thank them for their service and hard work.
Saying thank you doesn't always have to be a big show, but the recipient will almost always see your thanks as a grand gesture.
Senior Helpers would like to thank all the hard working family caregivers as well as our nation's heroes for their service. Thank you!
