You know you’re tired when a trip to the grocery store for your client feels like a mini-vacation. Caregiving is in no way an easy job, and is often under-appreciated. At Senior Helpers we know our caregivers go above and beyond, and while nothing would be able to fully express our appreciation to our staff, pizza certainly seemed like a place to start.
On April 12, we held a Caregiver Appreciation Event at the Grand Central Bowling Hall. We challenged our caregivers to complete the Dementia Care Certification through IPCED. The course provided caregivers with an understanding of how to care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.
We truly appreciate all the hard work everyone put into working towards the certification. As a little something to show our gratitude, we held a drawing for those who completed the course for a brand new Android Tablet. Big congratulations and appreciation for our winner Karalee!
