We are about six days into 2016, and we bet you are already tired of talking about your resolutions.
New Year resolutions are great, but year-after-year they tend to get a little redundant. Hit the gym, eat healthy, read more, we go could on! Sound familiar?
While getting more exercise (for your body and brain) and eating a healthier diet are always important goals, we wanted to start to think outside of the box and come up with a few resolutions that are fresh and fun!
Here’s what we came up with!
Join a new club – resolve to be more social in 2016 and do more with and for your community. You can try a sports league, an art club, the options are nearly endless!
Take more naps – that’s right, resolve to sleep more! Sleep is healthy and we know that not all family caregivers get enough rest. We challenge you to try to rest your eyes for 20 minutes a day!
Reconnect by disconnecting – resolve to spend less time on electronics and more time with the people around you! Put your phone down and have a real conversation!
New Year resolutions are about more than physical health, so think outside the box in 2016!
