What’s better than getting your entire family together for a day of food and fun? Not much! But we all know that planning a gathering as big as a family reunion is not an easy feat.
Fortunately, there are ways to deter the stress and make the party planning more fun! If you are interested in planning a family reunion make sure you check out these tips:
Plan Ahead – Family reunions often require travel, so make sure you plan in advance. We suggest you begin the planning process as early as 6 months in advance to make sure everyone has enough time to make arrangements.
Plan the Menu – Plan a simple meal that will be easy to make but filling for your guests. Keep a running list of what items you need and who is bringing what to the party so you can stay organized and not lose track of the essentials.
Create a Kid’s Corner – Make sure there are plenty of activities for your younger guests so they stay occupied and allow the adults to have fun too!
Keep Calm – Hosting a party can be stressful, but try your best to stay calm! If you appear stressed your guests will notice and that can put a damper on their fun.
Parties are all about having fun so relax and enjoy this time with your family. Don’t forget to take lots of pictures!
