I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how happy we are to have Karen here taking care of my mom, Dorothy. After our last health care company, she was like a breath of fresh air in comparison.
In addition to her caring and compassion, she knows about dementia and what to do. Her personality fits well with my mom. They laugh and have fun together. My mom just loves her and looks forward to her coming. Karen not only does well with my mom, but also feels like part of the family, without compromising her care taking responsibilities. You never hear her say “It’s not part of my job description.” When she went away on vacation, we were hard pressed to find someone to fill the bill. I believe we tried three or four different people. Needless to say, we were thrilled to see her return.
In addition, during the summer I became quite ill while away at my son’s. Upon my return I got even worse. I had a hypoglycemic attack while sleeping, and if it wasn’t for Karen, I may not be writing this letter. My husband didn’t know what to do. He thought I was just sleeping in, but Karen knew that wasn’t my normal behavior. She came in my room and tried to revive me, etc. Long story short, they called 911 and I was taken to the hospital.
So, as you can see, she is not just en employee, but goes the extra mile. I’m so glad we found her.
Sincerely, Arlene - March 3, 2014
"Keep up the good work. I am very happy. I hope you are too."
"Thank you so much for your care and kindness during my mom's illness. You were a big help and we greatly appreciate it. Thanks for sending Shelly. She was an angel and my mother loved her. Thanks again."
"I'm so grateful to all of you. Karen is just wonderful. She is a friend-not just a driver."
"On Valentine's Day, I want to express thanks to you for Miss Emily. God worked thru you to match a 5 star angel to be my helper. She was punctual in arriving and leaving in time alloted. She is going to walk me to the beach and also go swimming with me. As a young lady her head is on straight and so willing to help a 91 year old senior."
