Welcome to Senior Helpers of Fairfield, New Jersey. When you call the office, there is a good chance that you may speak to one of us…..
Thank you for visiting our website and allowing me to introduce myself. My name is Jamie Farina, the owner of Senior Helpers in Fairfield, New Jersey. I am a graduate of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology. I went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
I was employed by St. Mary’s General Hospital in Passaic for 20 plus years in the Behavioral Health Department. I was the Coordinator of a residential program and I had the pleasure of working with a very special group of individuals. When the opportunity arose to become a part of Senior Helpers, I decided it was time to embark upon a new venture where I would still be involved providing professional service to those in need of a helping hand. What free time I have, I devote to my daughter, Jasmine. I am proud of the progress that she is making in school and that she participates in after school activities. I would be honored if you allowed us to care for your loved ones who may be in need of our service. I would be happy to speak with you should you have any questions. Thank you again for visiting Senior Helpers, Fairfield, New Jersey.
I am a proud native from West Africa, now an American Citizen who loves working with people. I am very pleasant and have a smile for all that cross my path. My daily prayer is to be used as an instrument of God.
I have an Associate’s Degree in Business Management with an extensive work experience. I am an entrepreneur and I ran my own banquet hall for some time. I am also a licensed Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) which I truly enjoy because it allows me the opportunity to work with others. In addition, I am a chauffeur and I drove a limousine for a while, and now I drive for LYFT on a part time basis. I have worked as an Accounts Payable/ Financial Representative for 14 years in a pharmaceutical company in New Jersey.
I also worked at the American Embassy in Monrovia, West Africa for 10 ten years before migrating to the United States.
I studied and obtained a BFA in dance at Rutgers University. While not at work in the office, I teach dance to children ages 3-13 years old. In my teachings I hope that my students will develop the same love for dance that I have. In my time off, I also enjoy travelling and eating out at restaurants.
