Meet the Fairfield Team

Dr. Jack Yeung

Dr. Jack Yeung

Owner

Dr. Jack Yeung received his Doctorate in Pharmacy from St. John’s University in May of 2005. Immediately following graduation, he became a Registered Pharmacist and relocated to Connecticut. During his first five years in Connecticut, he served as a staff pharmacist for A large pharmacy chain, spending time in multiple stores located in both the Fairfield and New Haven counties.

In 2010, feeling he had done all he could to service his patients in the big business bureaucracy and big corporate culture, he decided to venture out and open his own pharmacy. Jack worked tirelessly during this time period and co-founded Main Street Pharmacy located in Danbury, CT. To this day, Main Street Pharmacy continues to provide valuable services to the greater Danbury area including free prescription pick-up & delivery, immunizations, consultation, and medication therapy management services.

Dr. Jack has devoted much of his pharmacy career focused on building a healthier community one patient at a time. After devoting himself to the retail pharmacy for many years, he built incredible relationships with doctors, nurses and home health aids. Being in the front line of the healthcare industry, He recognized the immense value home campanions provide patients on a daily basis.

Study shows that patients are healthier, more independent and happier when they stay at home. Dr. Yeung wants to expand his role by providing our seniors the support they deserve. When not preoccupied with his business ventures, he loves to spend time with his wife Dr. Jenah Yeung and their four children Jax, Alysa, Charlotte and Kenzo.

Tim Francis

Tim Francis

Co-Owner

Tim Francis is a distinguished Board-Certified Physician Assistant with nearly two decades of rich and diverse experience in the field of medicine. His remarkable journey has seen him transition from a dedicated practitioner to a visionary entrepreneur, at the helm of Senior Helpers Fairfield and New Haven alongside his esteemed business partner, Dr. Jack Yeung.

In a pivotal moment during his internship as a Physician Assistant, Tim demonstrated exceptional courage and commitment by serving as a first responder in the aftermath of the tragic events of 9/11 in New York. This experience served to steer his career towards trauma medicine and orthopedics. Tim's commitment to excellence led him to later become a Hospitalist in Florida, where he not only honed his clinical skills but also extended compassionate care to patients in Assisted Living Facilities and Nursing Homes in South Florida.

Venturing into the realm of entrepreneurship, Tim joined his immensely accomplished business partner, Dr. Jack Yeung, and assumed ownership of Senior Helpers Fairfield three years ago. Their unwavering dedication and strategic vision have not only expanded the company's footprint by acquiring a second territory but also prompted the relocation of their home office from Fairfield, CT, to Orange, CT. This move was fueled by the need for a larger space, allowing the establishment of an exceptional training center (Center of Excellence).

Tim's commitment to excellence in home care is evident in the distinct approach to caregiver training their office provides. Overseeing this crucial aspect are healthcare professionals of the highest caliber, including a Registered Nurse Nancy Sivri and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) Melissa Francis. Their collective expertise forms the backbone of their office, setting it apart as a trailblazer in the home care industry in Connecticut.

Under Tim and Jack’s leadership, Senior Helpers Fairfield and New Haven have become synonymous with unparalleled care, innovation, and a commitment to the well-being of seniors. Tim's vision and dedication are driving forces behind the company's success, making him a respected figure in both the medical and entrepreneurial communities.

Senior Helpers provided excellent live-in home assistance for my aunt. I appreciated the kind, compassionate and reliable caregivers provided by this agency. They consistently did their job very well. The owner and president of Senior Helpers in Fairfield, supervised the caregivers. She made periodic visits to my aunt’s home to verify that the live-in situation was going well for everyone involced. The help provided by Senior Helpers, a most professional and caring agency, allowed my aunt to stay in her home in a safe and caring environment which was reassuring to me. I highly recommend Senior Helpers for non-medical in-home services.

Our History

Senior Helpers was founded in 2002 by Tony Bonacuse with the help of Peter Ross after their firsthand experience in supporting their respective family members. Tony and Peter identified a need that was not being filled properly by the other companies. They realized that most seniors would prefer to age in their own home rather than move into an unfamiliar institution. Unfortunately, the options available to most seniors were very limited.  Most seniors did not have access to well-trained, dependable and affordable in-home assistance. This was the mission-driven spark that started Senior Helpers.

The first office opened in Baltimore, and quickly developed a reputation for delivering excellent senior support with their well-trained staff of professional caregivers. Based on the success of the Baltimore location, the company began to expand. Over the past 19 years, the Senior Helpers family has grown to include a network of more than 300 locally owned and operated franchises across the United States.

Senior Helpers of Fairfield was proud to join the system in 2017. Like every other owner, we too are fully-committed to the original goal of providing dependable and affordable in-home non-medical support with well-trained caregivers. Nothing is more important to us than being the best available resource for seniors and families in our community.

Owners, Dr. Jack Yeung and Tim Francis were drawn to Senior Helpers because of our signature programs, which go above and beyond to provide a higher level of assistance for our clients.

We have been lucky to serve hundreds of seniors in our community over the years, and we are committed to continuing to provide uncompromising levels of support to all our families.
