As Agency Director, Sandy has overall management responsibility for the day to day operations of Senior Helpers. She has business experience spanning over 15 plus years in financial management, including budgeting, financial planning, marketing and supervision. Sandy s committed to ensuring that Senior Helper’s Caregivers provide the highest, most compassionate care possible to clients and family members. Senior Helpers strives to consistently deliver the same level of care that a caregiver would provide to a member of their own family at a fair and reasonable price.
Her designation as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) ®, allows her on a professional level to understand the physical, emotional and financial challenges of her clients and their families. On a personal level, Sandy and her family have experienced the joys and challenges of taking care of her grandparents whose stated preference was to age gracefully in their own homes. Senior Helpers is delighted to have Darcy as our staff nurse. Her extensive nursing background makes her uniquely qualified to evaluate and monitor the health status of our clients. Darcy has over 30 years of experience, including 19 years in cardiac nursing at Carolinas Medical Center- Northeast. In that role she worked closely with cardiologists and discharge planners to plan care and prepare patients for discharge. Darcy has also held nursing supervisory roles at Medical Center- Northeast and Rowan Regional Medical Center.
The majority of Darcy’s career has involved with assessing patients and developing care plans for their recovery. Senior Helpers is fortunate that Darcy continues to utilize her expertise and years of experience for the benefit of our clients.
Senior Helpers is extremely blessed to have Judy as our Administrative Assistant, as she keeps the office running smoothly. She has been with the company for four years and in that time has quickly become a trusted Assistant known for her “can-do” attitude, high quality work, and dependability. Judy is responsible for the scheduling of caregivers, communicating with clients and caregivers, among many other tasks vital to the inner workings of Senior Helpers.
Before joining Senior Helpers Judy worked for The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Washington, DC for eleven years as the Executive Assistant to the Vice President and Director of the Division of Women’s Health Issues.
