Since 2007, Senior Helpers in Hockessin has been providing professional and dependable in-home care to seniors throughout northern New Castle County. Bobbie Hartz,
MBA, CSA
Owner

Bobbie is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA). She oversees and manages the day-today operations of Senior Helpers, such as, scheduling, client intake and client service, recruiting and HR, training, billing and payroll, marketing and community relations. She performs client needs assessments, interviews caregiver applicants and responds to questions or concerns from our clients or caregivers. She enjoys playing piano and flute, exercising, and trips to the beach.

Blake Turnbull, RN,
BSN
Director of Caregivers

Blake oversees the overall management of our home care operations related to the care of our clients and the monitoring of our caregivers. She reviews all documentation to ensure state compliance and follows up on issues arising in the care of our clients. She trains our caregivers in assisting our clients with their activities of daily living (ADLs) and in our Senior Gems® Dementia care. She enjoys travel, reading, exercise, MahJong, and pinochle.

Chelsie Duman
Office Manager

Chelsie is responsible for the overall management of the administrative responsibilities in the office. Her duties include ordering office supplies; maintaining equipment; entering payroll, processing new hire background checks and paperwork; maintaining our client and employee databases and ensuring that all documentation is in order and up to date. She loves cars, playing Bingo, concerts and lounging in her backyard.

Alice Kamen, RN, BSN
Caregiver Supervisor

Alice provides backup for the Director of Caregivers and Director of Operations in the overall execution of supervision of our caregivers. She also evaluates clients on a regular basis and/or as necessary to ensure client needs are consistent with the care plan. She writes and maintains care plans and provides proactive guidance in the management of our clients' health. She likes to run, hike, walk her dogs, and volunteer.

Lloyd Minatee
Human Resources

Lloyd handles the hiring, administration, and training of our caregivers. His responsibilities include caregiver recruitment, orientation and supervision; administering performance appraisals; maintaining our customer satisfaction system; and other areas of operations as needed. When he's not goofing around with his son, he likes to draw, go to the movies, and take photographs. He also enjoys traveling, exercising and learning to play the guitar.

 

 

 

Eliu Rodriguez
Client Support
Services Manager

Eliu began his career at Senior Helpers as a caregiver. He now coordinates client and caregiver schedules and maintains them in our database. He resolves all scheduling issues and ensures that all clients’ needs are fulfilled. He also responds to any client questions or concerns and assists in the caregiver recruitment process. He enjoys traveling, cooking for friends and family, and horseback riding.
