Faye Co-Owns the business and is the Executive Director of Senior Helpers Ann Arbor and Adrian. Having cared for both of her parents thru end of life understands the importance of the services that Senior Helpers provides and is passionate about helping others. Faye manages both offices, assesses clients and works with caregivers and is our community educator. In addition Faye is involved with and volunteers her time for the Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels.
As a Co-Owner and Director of Community Relations for Senior Helpers, Sheila works with other community partners educating them about services for seniors. Sheila enjoys talking with families of prospective clients, helping them find resources and providing quality care. Sheila has worked with the aging population for over 25 years and in addition has cared for elderly family members as well. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University in Health Administration.
Client Care Coordinator for Senior Helpers, Teresa monitors all client and caregiver schedules. She maintains communication with our caregivers to arrange quality services and care for our clients. She also assists with communicating with our clients families, so they can feel confident entrusting the care of their loved ones into our hands. Teresa uses her 18 years of teaching experience to help train and guide caregivers on how to best care for our clients. Teresa has had a love for working with youth, but after caring for an elderly family member found a new love for seniors. Teresa is a Teacher with the Ann Arbor Public Schools and has earned a BS from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Mathematics and a MA from the University of Michigan in Teaching.
Elisabeth is the RN on staff with Senior Helpers. As a Nurse Consultant she regularly instructs caregivers and the internal staff in areas on homecare. She also does in home assessments for long term care insurance companies and addresses any clinical needs our clients may have.
As a graduate of Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing, Elisabeth has experience as a general duty staff Nurse, in Obstetrics and as an Operating Room Supervisor. Prior to her formal retirement at Promedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian- she was the Hospital Manager on the night shift for 16 years. She, along with many others was involved in the first computer installation at Bixby for the entire hospital. She did training in total quality management for nursing. Elisabeth was licensed as an E.M.T. during her time at Bixby and is certified in C.P.R.
As a Client Care Coordinator for Senior Helpers Annette is excited about Learning and Growing with the Company. Annette completed her Medical Assisting course in 2006. She had always loved working in the Medical Field, especially with the elderly. Her Dad was recently Diagnosed with Dementia and this makes her even more want to learn about his condition, so she can help him and others that maybe dealing with this. She resides in Milan with her Husband of 11 years. They have 5 Children and 4 Grandchildren. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family, Baking and riding four wheelers in Northern WI.
