Where to Start: Our Initial In-Home Care Interview
We have a professional, process-oriented staff ready to serve our clients and their families. Whether you need assistance 24 hours a day or hourly assistance weekly, our office is ready to help personalize your schedule. In most cases it's very difficult for family members to identify their needs, and we are able to help you in the process.
A complimentary, initial in-home care interview with a Senior Helpers consultant can help you survey your options. Together you can discuss your loved one's needs and our services to determine what is best for your entire family. We will cover:
Our companion care line of services offers daily companionship and assistance with daily living activities. If your loved one is living alone and your visits are limited, social interaction becomes very important to their happiness, and helps prevent feelings of isolation and depression. Whether they need a little fun or maybe just help keeping house and running errands, we have you covered with home care activities such as:
Our personal care service helps your loved ones with more intimate, non-medical care needs that include companionship in addition to Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation assistance. Whether it is for normal aging challenges, hospital recovery or sickness, we are here to make everyday life easier and more manageable. Our experienced caregivers are specifically trained to handle these tasks and our care managers will be closely involved to conduct periodic assessments to survey your loved one's care.
Our caregivers are available to provide 24-hour coverage temporarily or as long as needed. Assistance with companionship and personal care are provided in one's preferred living environment.
Peace of Mind Visit
Senior Helpers' unique Peace of Mind Visit program is a one hour visit to help clients with “check-ins” during their most vulnerable time periods to ensure that one is safe. Assistance may include morning or bedtime care, bathing assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, and other simple chores or companionship.
Senior Helpers understands that it can be challenging for families when a member is discharged from a hospital. This service ensures that clients are guided through the outpatient surgery and recovery period. We are available for help prior to surgery and will accompany a client each step of the way through full recovery, including transportation to follow-up doctor visits.
Our caregivers monitor clients in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living centers, continuing care retirement communities, etc., to be there when you need that extra help.
Respite care is a unique program to assist families by providing care for a short period of time, such as vacations.
At times your loved one may not need weekly visits, but peace of mind is still important to ensure one's wellness and safety. Wellness Watch offers weekly check-in phone calls and semi-monthly customized visits by our care team. Communication with family members is a priority, and a monthly report is provided.
Senior Helpers takes pride in offering our patients responsive and high-quality care. If you’d like to learn more about our services or you're ready to schedule your free in-home assessment to discover whether in-home care is right for you or a family member, please contact us today.
