How we love the sights and smells of Thanksgiving; the fresh bread, roasted turkey and vegetables, set amidst the golds, reds and browns of Fall foliage. Thanksgiving tastes and smells so wonderful and is a time to reflect on what we are grateful for as we share a meal with our loved ones.
We hope most of the seniors in our community will be enjoying this Thanksgiving holiday with their families. It is often a less busy time for the in-home care business because of the extended family being present and able to spend time with senior family members. For those that aren’t able to spend Thanksgiving with family, there are community meals being served in several SLO County cities, which offer a chance to get that good comfort food and togetherness this Thanksgiving.
