Independent living for seniors can be accomplished safely at home with a little help. Aging adults often want to retain as much of their existing lifestyle as possible as their abilities change, opting to live in their long-time homes or with family members. At Senior Helpers, our services are provided to each individual using a customized care plan designed around the person’s unique challenges. We assist with the select activities of daily living that your loved one needs help with, while still respecting their abilities and independence.

Choose the level of care necessary to maintain independent living for seniors in your family:
- “Peace-of-Mind” Home Visits - Schedule regular visits in which your in-home caregiver completes a list of tasks like bathing and hygiene assistance, meal preparation, medication assistance, laundry, and light housekeeping.
- Sitter Services – Senior companions provide consistent attention, conversation, and assistance either at home, in hospitals during and illness or post-op, or in assisted living or skilled nursing facilities.
- Skilled Nursing RN Visits – Registered nurses will perform a complete initial assessment and care plan, and follow up with regular appointments to re-evaluate seniors’ needs.
- Medication Monitoring – Called our MedServ Plan, this service involves medical evaluations, RN visits, drug interaction monitoring, and communication with primary care physicians.
- Veterans Home Care and Services – Standard in-home care options come with additional services of preparing paperwork for VA reimbursement or other written contacts, and transportation to VA offices or health care facilities.
Senior independent living options are improving greatly, as the demands of their children’s two-income households have increased and their life expectancies have grown longer. With the in-home care services that Senior Helpers provides, we are expanding the capability for independent living for seniors and improving the level of personal care and healthcare they receive.
