Senior Care Close to Home, or at Home,
from Professional Caregivers
Professional Caregivers
Elderly care closer to home or at home allows your relative to stay in a home environment for as long as possible. Senior Helpers provides trained, credentialed caregivers under nurse supervision to assist your family in this time of need. When normal aging begins to be debilitating, your senior needs some help around the house whether that is just short visits or daily assistance with general household tasks and errands. Our professional staff can assist your relative with daily tasks, light housekeeping, grocery shopping and errands, trips to the doctor or pharmacy, transporting your senior to visit friends or go out for a meal or entertainment, or, if your senior requires health care assistance, help with hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, or other tasks, Senior Helpers is here to provide your family with assisted living care. Please review our Services Task List for a further list of duties that are caregivers can assist you with, so, you or your family members don’t suffer from "caregiver burnout" from too much stress.

Personalized Care & Nursing Supervision
Our plans for care closer to home or at home are designed for the personal needs of your relative and we have the expertise to assist you with home care for older adults, health care and daily assistance for those facing early onset memory loss, dementia, or even Alzheimer's disease. Our programs are set up with your input after an initial medical assessment from one of our nurses. Our nurses will create a care plan, visit every other week to dispense medications, to monitor drug interaction problems, to supervise our caregivers, and our nurses will provide your senior's primary care physician with reports and medical exception reports (not taking medications, or problems with dosage). If necessary, we even have automated medication dispensers. For more information on assistance with medication, please review our MedServ Plan.

Affordable Home Care
So, you may wonder how much will all of this cost? Generally, professional caregiver assistance is considerably more affordable than nursing home care, but, of course, it does depend on the individual situation and the amount of care. Do you need an hour or two of help, or does your relative need 24 hour care? Even if our professional caregivers are not at your relative's house, we are just a call away with 24 hour help, supervised by nurses. We offer payment options for basic, weekly or daily help, and also general payment arrangement options for standard or for long term care. Of course insurance does cover some costs along with other programs, and we are also set up to help our veterans negotiate the maze of government bureaucracies in order to get Veterans Administration reimbursements for health care closer to home or at home. We will work with your family to help your senior stay in his/her house. Living at home is the option that most people prefer to full time nursing care facilities; so, let us help make this family decision a bit easier for everyone concerned.
