Care Services for Alzheimer’s & Dementia

Senior Helpers has a variety of services available for your senior when you begin to notice age dementia symptoms:

  • Nurse Visits – Regular visits from a Registered Nurse who will access and monitor your loved one’s care with periodic evaluations to make sure his or her needs are still being met.
  • MedServ Plan - Customized plans that monitor daily medication use administered by our nursing professionals. Features of this program include medical evaluations by an RN, visits to refill necessary medications, drug interaction monitoring monthly reporting to primary doctors and more.
  • "Peace of Mind” Visits - Our caregivers can stop in to check on your relative to see how things are going during the day. Senior Helpers staff are trained to help with meal preparation & planning, medication reminders and cleanliness activities, both personal and household. Visits like these can keep your loved one living independently and comfortably in their own home, adhering to the routines he or she is used to keeping.
  • Sitter Services – This service allows you to take a needed break while making sure your loved one is not alone. Services are available at-home, in hospitals, or even in care facilities to provide general assistance, companionship, and needed care of your senior.
  • Veterans Services – Additional assistance is available for clients who have service in the military. We provide support for completing paperwork for VA reimbursements, contacts and letter writing and transportation to VA offices, clinics or hospitals.

Our service task list can give you more information about available services whether your loved one is at home or in an extended care facility.
