“I feel quite honored to write a few words about my family's experience with Senior Helpers and the wonderful care they are providing for my mother, Eileen.

I was a novice when it came to finding healthcare for my beloved mother, and was at a loss about how to go about making the correct decision. My mother, who is 90, suffers from dimentia as well as spinal compression fractures. Her case is a challenge for any caregiver. She is confused and in pain. This can be very stressful for untrained family membes to deal with. I knew I had to get professionals on the job if she were to remain as healthy as possible.

I do not believe I could have made a beter choice than Senior Helpers. Right from the start, everyone, the owner, the care coordinator and of course the wonderful team of caregivers were all so accommodating and caring, I was overwhelmed. This illness had taken its toll on my mother, my family and myself. The moment Senior Helpers stepped in, life became normal again. I could rest easy knowing she was always in well-trained and caring hands. The staff often went above and beyond to do things to make my mother happy and more comfortable, and I am and always will be indebted to them for that. I also appreciate that they provide a written report of how she did during their shift, and what her day was like so I am up to date about her condition at all times.

I had tried placing her in some of the top nursing and assisted care centers in Orlando. But like most elderly folks, Mother does her best at home with undivided loving attention. While I wish I could be there all the time to provide this, Senior Helpers is always willing and able to provide the level of care and concern that I myself would provide if I were able to care for her 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

There is much more I could say about all the lovely people who work at Senior Helpers. They have made such a difference in our lives. I can honestly say that if you are thinking of getting care for an ill family member, and are considering a nursing home, be sure to see if Senior Helpers is an option first.
