It happens every year. People make resolutions to eat healthier and work out more. Gyms get busier, but it doesn’t always last longer than the month of January. People get busy, the weather gets colder, and the determination fades.

  1. Be realistic – the most important step to keeping true to your goals is to understand what is reachable. Know your boundaries and set mini goals to help keep yourself motivated.
  2. Take a break – taking a break and recollecting yourself is okay! If you push yourself too hard, you are more likely to just give up completely. If you get off track for a day or two, don’t worry, you can always get back on!
  3. Find a friend – studies show that the number one way to stick to your resolutions is to find a friend to commit with you! That way you can keep each other accountable and encouraged!
