November is a month of remembrance, honor, and gratitude. We remember and honor our American veterans who fought for our country and we give thanks for what we have in our life on Thanksgiving. This month, the Senior Helpers family would like to focus on honoring our vets and showing gratitude to our loved ones.
As a caregiver, we know you work hard to make sure your aging loved one is living as independently and comfortably as possible. For that, we give you our undying gratitude!
Hearing you are appreciated is always a wonderful feeling, but when is the last time you let your elderly loved one know you were grateful for them? It’s hard to tell someone you are caring for that you are thankful for something they’ve done, but it is important to remind your loved one that they do have value.
Next time they help you clean or cook, make sure you give them a pat on the back and let them know they are appreciated! If you are caring for a family member you can thank them for raising your loved ones and starting the family. There really is so much to be thankful for!
