About the Owners:
Maria Porchia, a registered nurse for 15 years, sees the senior population as a viable and vibrant sector in the community. Because of this, Maria purchased two Senior Helpers franchises to ensure seniors are treated with respect, dignity, and compassion. Maria, working in part with her husband, Peter, who is also a registered nurse, is able to focus on the needs of her clients, advocating for them and ensuring that they always receive the best care possible.

Because of her vast geriatric background and profound understanding of nursing, Maria is easily able to create a perfect and unique match for each client with the appropriate companion or Certified Nursing Assistant, always working to maintain the patient’s home lifestyle with independence and grace.
