Director of Client Care/Owner
Andrea and I decided to purchase Senior Helpers about 4 years ago because we valued the same values as the company did. These include having integrity without compromise and delivering comfort and care at a moment’s notice while being able to help the elderly stay in their own homes. Since then, our territories have continued to grow and develop.
I do initial assessments and work hand in hand with Veterans to help assist them with applying for their Aid and Attendance benefit. This is a much needed service that many veterans and their spouses don’t know they qualify for. I also work hand in hand with the clients and their families to develop the proper care plan for each client and handle all schedule changes.
Educational Specialist /Owner
I specialize in our education department. I am in charge of putting together our Virtual Dementia Tours throughout the community. With previously being a teacher before coming to Senior Helpers I know how important the role of education is to the community. I strive to explain to families and the community the importance of education and understanding the ageing process especially when working with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
The Virtual Dementia Tour® is an individual experience through simulated dementia created for families, organizations and companies. I believe this tour is beneficial to everyone because it enables you to “take a walk in their shoes” and can be a very eye-opening experience to those who are wanting to understand more about dementia.
Director of Operations
I oversee all operations in the office and help train staff to keep everyone updated on the latest techniques and events. I work on developing a plan of action for each day to keep business moving in the right direction so that we are always able to provide the proper care to each client in every aspect.
I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a concentration in gerontology. My goals in life are to help others learn and grow and to make a difference in people’s lives. Senior Helpers allows me to do this by helping my team grow and making a difference in our client’s lives as well.
I am in charge of the hiring sessions and GEMS training for all of our caregivers. I recruit new caregivers that have a passion for taking care of the elderly. When interviewing them I find it important that they have experience and important qualities like loyalty, trustworthiness, compassion, and a good work ethic. I work hand in hand with each caregiver to make sure they are compatible and comfortable with each client they work with. I have a strong passion for this type of work whether it is teaching caregivers certain techniques to use or being there for grief support.
I have been a C.N.A for six years, first working at a Nursing home and working as a Caregiver for Senior Helpers part time while going to college. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia ten years ago and my family was always struggling for answers when it came to her care. I wanted to be a part of an organization that provided these answers for the families; this is why I chose Senior Helpers for a career.

Community Relations Coordinator/Part Time
I am in charge of doing our community outreach in the Kokomo area. I work hand in hand with our resource partners to educate the community on what is available to them. When working with clients I help them and their families come up with a proper care plan. Currently I am attending IUK college classes.
I work on scheduling the right caregiver for each client and making sure that all schedules are filled.
I worked in scheduling, purchasing, and customer service in manufacturing for 30 years. I wanted to do something more meaningful and personal, that’s why I decided to work for Senior Helpers.
My husband is Brad Angle and he’s Plant Mgr. at Carter Fuel Systems. We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren and another on the way! We own The People’s Winery and working there is fun and therapy for me :)

Community Relations Coordinator
I am in charge of doing our community outreach in Wabash and its surrounding territories. I work with clients to help them find the right fit for them in facilities as well if that is their wish to be there instead of home. I love being able to go out and meet new people every day and feel like I’m making a difference in people’s lives. I am always out in the community partnering with other resources or visiting with clients and their families to develop the proper care plan that is needed.
I graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Community Health Education and a minor in Psychology.

My duties include taking initial calls to set up assessments, entering information into the system, making follow-up calls, preparing binders, educating callers on our services, and assisting in keeping track of things and people!
I am a retired teacher, lifetime Cass County resident, taught with Andrea, love working for a company who helps better the lives of others, and am a mother of two grown daughters.

Intern/Account Manager Assistant
