Welcome to the website for Senior Helpers of Dunn, NC. Our office is part of an individually owned and operated network of Senior Helpers, servicing nine counties in southeastern NC. As one of the state’s premiere home care agencies, Senior Helpers strives to provide customized care for your loved one and to address all of their personal, emotional and mental needs.
Senior Helpers of Dunn was founded in 2010 by my father, my daughter, and myself. We were motivated to invest in Senior Helpers after many years of taking care of my grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease, and other family members with other health issues. We as a family, realized how difficult it is to find loving, compassionate people to provide care for our loved ones. We realized our community had a great need for a company like Senior Helpers and the quality of life they brought to the people they cared for. Senior Helpers places value in helping seniors maintain their independence, while remaining in their own homes and celebrating life. We strive to provide security, comfort and professionalism to our clients, which give confidence and peace of mind to them and their family members. We take pride on employing caregivers that are as equally passionate and caring about the care they provide and feel a sense of responsibility to improving quality of life for all their clients. We strive to operate as a family unit behind the scenes, in the office, with our caregivers, and with each client, treating them as a member of our family as well.
Senior Helpers of Dunn has become well known for our work ethic, compassion and professionalism, which has helped our office to become the agency of choice by local hospitals, extended care facilities and local healthcare professionals. These standards have lead us to be recognized as “Best of Home Care” in 2011, 2012 and 2013 by Home Care Pulse. We have received “Provider of Choice in Home Care” in 2014 and for 2015 by Home Care Pulse. We are very proud of these honors and make it a point to be there for your family around the clock.
We invite you to call and speak to any of our highly trained personnel in our office to inquire about services available. The decision to find home care for a loved one can be a difficult task and our job is to make this first step easier. Our staff can answer any questions you may have and take some of the stress out of looking for home care. Once the decision is made that home care is needed, our Community Relations Coordinator can make a home visit, at no charge, to help determine your family member’s specific needs and to make the best match with a caregiver for their current situation. This complimentary in-home assessment is part of the normal process and is meant to introduce your loved one to our services and create an environment of trust and confidence, as well as with their family.
From here we establish a care plan that fits their specific needs and determines a schedule that is affordable and practical for the client. There are no contracts, only a Service Agreement that is very flexible and should meet the needs of each individual client.
