He is deeply dedicated to his community and knows that Senior Helpers works in a meaningful way to help seniors retain their independence in their homes. Fred ensures that you and your family will have the highest level of quality home care by providing care that emphasizes dignity, compassion, and respect. Fred works hard to serve each client in this way.


Tarah Miller
Client Services Coordinator and Staffing Manager

Tarah creates each home care client assessment to develop the perfect care plan for your loved one! She will connect you to the perfect family caregiver. Whether your loved one has Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, or any chronic ailment, she will listen to your feedback and take care of any of your concerns. Tarah is an Iraq and Afghanistan veteran who was an EMT in the field. She is also an LPN with two amazing children. Tarah loves helping clients feel a peace of mind which comes from knowing their loved ones are safe.


Meredith Wouters
Marketing and Sales Coordinator

Meredith connects Senior Helpers to our community. She helps us support the Walk to End Alzheimer's and other local charities. Meredith is passionate about Alzheimer's care because she has a loved one who suffers from dementia. She educates the senior and caregiver community about the stages of Alzheimer's and dementia as well as its risks of complications. If you or your family have any questions about Alzheimer's and dementia care and what to expect, Meredith will support you through this journey.

Client Services Assistant/Office Assistant

Katharine helps coordinate the office, does interviews with caregivers, answers calls, handles administrative tasks, and livens up the office. Katharine finds caregivers with whom you can place your trust to take care of your senior in your home. Naturally sweet and understanding, she helps clients and caregivers navigate senior care. She can brighten anyone's day and is always up to any possible mission.

Marketing and Business Development

Stan joined the staff to help Senior Helpers grow in the Shenandoah area. He is eager to show our community the quality of home care that Senior Helpers provides. Stan brings years of experience as a communicator from working in the Harrisonburg and Rockingham Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Presbyterian minister, serving the Zetta Presbyterian Church near Churchville in Augusta County. Stan lives in Weyers Cave with his wife and stepson, as well as three dogs and a cat!?"
