Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 10th and the Senior Helpers family wanted to take a moment to wish all the mothers out there a very special and happy day!

Mother’s Day is the time for families to get together, whether that be in person, over the phone, or even via Skype. Since this special day is all about togetherness, it is also a great day to talk about your favorite family memories, moments, and stories.

When’s the last time you asked your grandmother or mother about their wedding day or their first home? How about asking them about school or their childhood? These are all precious stories that have shaped your family and it’s so important to keep those memories alive.

You’ll be surprised how much you learn when you listen to a story. Maybe you can even try to capture these precious memories by recording them or writing them down. That way you and your family can cherish them for years to come.

You can also capture memories by collecting old photos and taking new ones when your loved ones are together. Then you can use these photos to make a scrapbook to forever hold your favorite family get-togethers and special events. Scrapbooks also make great Mother’s Day gifts!

Happy Mother’s Day!
